ANNOUNCE NEW RAYMOND FLOYD SILVER COIN
LOS ANGELES, CA, September 3, 2002...Pro Tour Memorabilia, an officially
licensed collectibles and memorabilia company of PGA TOUR, Inc., and the World
Golf Hall of Fame announced today the issuance of a new licensed World Golf Hall
of Fame Raymond Floyd commemorative silver coin. The Raymond Floyd Hall of Fame
coin, sold through PGA TOUR Partners Club, is the fifth in a series of
commemorative coins of one troy ounce of pure silver featuring 24 of the
greatest golfers in the history of the game, all of whom have been inducted into
the World Golf Hall of Fame.
“This is a great way to commemorate Raymond’s career and we are pleased to

The World Golf Hall of Fame coin series is a combined effort between Pro Tour
Memorabilia, the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Partners Club and the World Golf Hall of
Fame, to celebrate the legendary champions of golf and the World Golf Hall of
Fame, with an exciting collection of silver coins. The collection began with
such golf legends like, Gene Sarazen, Byron Nelson, and Gary Player.

one-of-a-kind coin.”
The World Golf Hall of Fame is located at World Golf Village in St. Augustine
and is a collaboration of 26 national and international golf organizations
including the USGA, LPGA, PGA of America, PGA TOUR and SENIOR PGA TOUR. The
dramatic building houses interactive displays, historic artifacts, a special
exhibit gallery, an IMAX theatre and the Hall of Fame itself, which honors the
game’s greatest players and contributors. Each Fall the newest members are
inducted during an annual ceremony filled with all of the pomp and circumstance
befitting a game that stands over 600 years.
